The Pioneer Days Festival will take place in Central Park on Friday, June 6 and Saturday, June 7. This year’s festival will have extended hours, a musical lineup and activities for various ages.
Attendees are welcome to bring guitars, banjos and fiddles and find a spot to play between scheduled performances. The Pioneer Days Stage will feature music throughout the two-day event. Friday will feature country music performances and Saturday will focus on bluegrass music.

In addition to the main stage, the Pioneer Days Festival includes other attractions:
Overton County Cruise-In Car Show: The Overton County Cruise-In will be held on Saturday, June 7 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Trophies will be awarded.
Dale Hollow Artifact Show: The Dale Hollow Artifact Show, presented by the Dale Hollow Archeological Society, will display Native American and Pioneer artifacts. The exhibit will be in the Joe L. Evins Community Center, 312 E. Broad St., beginning at 8 a.m. on Saturday, June 7.
Overton Co. Heritage Museum: The Overton Co. Heritage Museum will be open on Saturday, June 7, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. The SVC-Union & Confederate Veterans will have tents set up with period dress on the museum lawn.
Pioneer Days Merchandise: Pioneer Days caps and shirts will be available at the information booth.
A Kids Zone will be in the Central Park parking lot, offering bounce houses, a petting zoo, the Splash Pad, corn-hole, checkers, whittling, horse and buggy rides.
