The Livingston - Overton County Chamber of Commerce is announced the Leadership Overton program has returned. This is a dynamic initiative designed to identify and cultivate the next generation of leaders in business, government, and the community. This program reflects our commitment to strengthening Overton County's future through effective leadership.
Leadership Overton aims to achieve several objectives:
Identify and Develop Leaders: The program will identify and nurture potential and existing leaders, empowering them to assume voluntary leadership roles in our community.
Foster Understanding: Leadership Overton will provide participants with a practical understanding of the major challenges and opportunities facing the Overton County area, equipping them to make informed and strategic decisions.
Enhance Communication: By bringing together leaders from diverse backgrounds and interests, the program will improve the communication network among individuals who play key roles in our community.
Exchange Ideas: Leadership Overton will serve as a platform for people to meet, connect, and exchange innovative ideas that can drive progress in our community.
Boost Commitment: By engaging and educating our community's potential leaders, we aim to stimulate increased leadership participation and commitment, ensuring a brighter future for Overton County.
The program will consist of a series of sessions and workshops, all geared toward developing the leadership skills and community understanding of its participants. These sessions will be led by experienced leaders and experts in various fields.
Applications for Leadership Overton will be open to interested individuals who aspire to make a meaningful impact on Overton County's future. Applications must be in by December 1st. Only 15 will be chosen for the 2024 class.
