The Overton County Cruise-In is set to rev up its engines once again, promising another exciting year of car shows, community support and scholarships.
Building on the success of 2024, which saw a record turnout of 140 vehicles, the Cruise-In has announced its 2025 schedule. Showcasing various car brands and models, each event will feature a specific theme, from classic American muscle to foreign imports and even rat rods. All car enthusiasts are welcome to participate, regardless of the theme.
The Cruise-In is more than just a car show; it's a community event with a heart. Proceeds from the events are used to fund scholarships for students attending the Tennessee College of Applied Technology (TCAT) and to support local volunteer fire departments. In 2024, the Cruise-In awarded three $500 scholarships and donated $500 each to Taylor's Crossroads and Dry Hollow Volunteer Fire Departments.
The Saturday 2025 schedule includes:
April 12: GM Showcase
May 10: Ford Showcase
June 14: Car Show
July 12: Mopar Showcase
Aug. 9: Truck & Jeep Showcase
Sept. 13: Foreign Showcase
Oct. 11: Rat Rod Showcase
All Cruise-Ins will be held at TCAT from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. located at 740 Hitech Drive in Livingston. Door prizes will be given out at 6 p.m.
The organizers of the Overton County Cruise-In express their gratitude for the community's support and look forward to another successful year of giving back and celebrating the love of cars.
