Livingston City Parks is receiving a boost from the Tennessee College of Applied Technology (TCAT) - Livingston’s Power Line Construction and Maintenance program. City Parks Director Michael Hayes expressed his appreciation for the work and time that TCAT is putting into improving the city parks.
Instructor Ty Eldridge leads the program. Eldridge, who grew up in the community shared his perspective: “I remember playing baseball here when I was young, and now I get to work to assist in improving it while training others who are interested in the line work trade.”
The Power Line Construction and Maintenance program at TCAT Livingston is a six-month program located at 740 Hi Tech Drive in Livingston.
